Spinning WheelA combination of fine woodworking and machining - in that there is both wood and metal work in this spinning wheel. The wood is cherry, and the metal, brass and steel. It was a collaboration with another college classmate who constructed a loom. In the presentation that we gave, I spun the yarn and he wove it into fabric. I discovered that this spinning wheel is not for beginners! |
